A Happy Easter!

This Easter we decided to take it easy. Brunch foods were made and consumed throughout the day. Keziah, Zed, and Gideon had some time with Easter lessons.  Our guests (Kimberly and Dennis) are still here in the RV and Zed's mom came for a short visit. Here are some happy highlights from today:

  • Gideon had fun figuring out how he wanted to dye some eggs. They had brown eggs instead of white. The colors mostly came out well. My only contribution was suggesting that Gideon try to make purple by taking a red egg and putting it into the blue dye. There was no purple dye provided.  It worked!

  • The eggs and some candy were hidden in the yard and Gideon got to have his own egg hunt.  There was a surprise real eggshell found in the yard by Zed.

  • Kimberly and I had a nice walk after the egg hunt. The weather was sunny with temperatures in the 50's. This week is supposed to be warm. There is still some snow in the woods.

  • In the evening we played games. We introduced Kimberly and Dennis to Bananagrams, Sushi Go Party, and Snake Oil. All are fun games, but Snake Oil can be hilarious.  It was so good to laugh so much.

Thank you for being part of my happy things. Stay safe.
